Modesto Califonia Blues, Brew, and BBQ Event

 

We were excited to participate in the 2006 Modesto, California BBQ Sauce contest on the first weekend of May. This BBQ event turned out to be the largest in the history of the state of California. My grandfather's Oringinal Hickory Sauce placed third out of forty two sauces entered into the contest. We were very pleased to do as well as we did being our first ever competitive event.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lake Oswego Saturday Farmer's Market

 

The Daddy Hern's BBQ Sauces and Rubs proved to be very popular at the Saturday Farmer's Market in Lake Oswego, OR. This gave us a chance to expose our sauces and rubs to the public. It didn't take long before we had repeat customers every Saturday. This was just a further validation that our Daddy Hern's BBQ Sauces and Rubs could develop a sustained market of it's own.
